Mix Agreement

  • I have two rates, independent and major label. Both rates include four revisions. Each additional revision after that will be charged a fee of $50/revision.

  • Both rates include: 

    • Main Mix

    • Vocal Up Mix

    • TV Mix (Lead Vocals Muted)

    • Instrumental Mix

  • To begin work on a mix, a deposit of half of rate is required & final 50% of payment is due before the delivery of the final mix.

  • If mixing fee is under $300, full amount may be requested upfront.

  • Stems will be provided upon request. Any request for stems 6 months after completion of the project may be charged a fee.

  • Tracks will come to mixer already auto-tuned and edited. Any additional editing/tuning can be done for an additional fee.

  • Clients will be given a downloadable link of final versions at final payment. All other deliverables will be delivered in a timely manner via a non-downloadable link.

  • Client agrees not to post or publish ANY version of the song, except for files that are deemed final. If a subsequent version other than the final is posted, the client must surrender the remaining balance. Teasers with audio taken from a mobile device are acceptable as long as it is in accordance with label/management or any existing agreements.

  • Revisions must be requested within two weeks from delivery of the current version or final to avoid additional fees.

  • Each round of revision notes must come collectively from one source (email, text, pigeon messenger)

  • Any mix that is stagnant for 30 days, due to revisions, additions, or inactivity will be subject to full payment.

  • Will credit Mixer, Will Cooper, properly in respect to roles filled (producer, mixer, songwriter, etc) in liner notes, when uploading songs to DSPs, distributors, digital/physical, or wherever metadata permits. Producer also reserves the right to remove likeness from the project. Any alterations or additions to credits or personnel, including adding additional writers, producers, or musicians, must be discussed & agreed upon prior to release of audio recording.

  • Requests for bounces/work mixes (pre-final, pre-mix) will be at mixers discretion.

  • Studio office hours are 10am to 6pm central time

  • If your project is a continuation of services, from production to mixing, I treat mixing as a separate stage. Any production changes in the mix stage may result in additional fees.

Guidelines

  • Please send files through physical hard drive, DropBox, Box, HighTail, or WeTransfer to info@willcooper.com

  • Send all files at a minimum of 44.1k/24. 48k/24 is preferred and recommended

  • Put all files in a folder titled “Song Title-Artist”-123BPM-Amaj-24/48k.

  • When sending the session, please provide me with a track count to make sure I received everything.

  • Only send me tracks you want in your song. Multiple takes or anything in question should be finalized prior to delivery of the session. I will request something wet/dry if I need it.

  • Name all tracks properly. I’m not extremely picky, just keep it simple and name everything what it is. (Ex. Gtr = Guitars, LdVocal = Lead Vocal, BGV = Background Vocals..etc)

  • Include a rough & reference tracks.
